The Husí plácek pension and wine cellar is located in the village of Dolní Věstonice in South Moravia. The village of Dolní Věstonice is to be found there northern from the Pálavské hills (Pálava), about 10 km northern from Mikulov, on the southern shore of the Novomlýnské reservoirs. The Habánské square, so called Husí plácek, belongs to the most interesting sights of the Mikulov area (accommodation in pension Mikulov and surrounding). The Habánské wine cellars form the whole little square there. The location of the accommodation in South Moravia is ideal for tourists and cyclists because there are lots of cyclo and winery paths.
The Husí plácek pension provides above standard services and accommodation. There is a wine cellar in the premises of the pension, too (pension with wine cellar South Moravia), a wine tasting gallery (wine tasting South Moravia), a café (pension with café South Moravia). You can choose from three types of accommodation. Accommodation „on straw“ which means in a former pressing place with a cross-shaped vault and with an entrance to the wine cellar, or so called „wine room“, which is a suite with a view of the quiet little square , or a „fishermen´s room“, which is a suite oriented to the direction of the Mušovská lakes. Both types of rooms are with four beds with possible extra beds, toilets, WIFI and showers.
The interconnected wine cellars have several levels offering a seating by a fireplace, a heated cellar to get together, a wine gallery and an archaiv (pension with wine gallery South Moravia). Visitors can use the café above the cellar where they can choose from the fresh delicious coffee offer, homemade cakes and pies as well as beers and spirits. We will gladly arrange country, cimbaloo or karaoke music on your request. To enjoy great sports fun we dispose of a very popular attraction called human´s table football. It is an imitation of the proper table football with the difference in players – there are people playing, fixed to sticks and they can only move to sides.
We prepare simple dishes in our kitchen whose fresh ingredients have been carefully chosen with respect to the environment where they are further served. You can taste roasted piglet, delicatessen from grill or a barbecue smoker (smoke house). For beer lovers we serve fair beers from small breweries.
Our premises are suitable for corporate parties, teambuildings, trainings, private events, school reunions, weddings, celebrations in South Moravia (wedding South Moravia). All premises are non-smoking (non-smoking pension South Moravia) and we also provide accommodation for your pets (accommodation with dogs South Moravia).
The cable centre is the unique matter of its kind.
