Zámecký statek Býkov, Hromnice
The castle farmhouse Býkov, as one of the few large farm estates built in a rustic barocco, is the unique object with a rich history. After its origin in 1703 it changed a lot of owners from church and secular ranges, one of them was the prince von Metternich. The listed object came through a difficult and delicate reconstruction, and today it can offer its guests a comfortable accommodation and varied range of services in the middle of an untouched nature in a beautiful forest countryside.
The accommodation is ensured in a tastefully equiped rooms, there is also a wedding apartment available. We also arrange civil and church wedding ceremonies, the civil ones take place in a large ceremony room, the church ones in the chapel of St. Jan Nepomucký. For arranging business and family social events there are several suitable rooms including an out-door sitting and a barn with the capacity of up to 800 persons. Gourmets can taste the specialities of the old-czech and medieval cuisine, the fans of traditions will appreciate the museum of historical agricultural machines and tools. You can also find here a an old blacksmithery with the original functional equipment and a so-called "Black kitchen" for bread baking. We have prepared a rich relaxation programm for our guests as well with a preference of healthy lifestyle, as horseriding or wellness programms.
