Moravian-Silesian region is situated in the easternmost part of the Czech Republic and is in the west, east and partly south bordered by mountains. On the western border of the region's it is Hrubý Jeseník with the highest mountain Praděd, in the southeast and east at the border with Slovakia and Poland it is Beskydy mountains, the highest peaks if which are Lysá hora and Radhošť.
