The Filoun homely pension, situated in a calm countryside of a small village of Plavy at the bottom of the Jizerské Mountains and the Krkonoše Mountains, welcomes you! (accommodation the Jizerské Mountains) This cosy pension is to be found in the heart of one of the most beloved recreational areas - mountain accommodation the Jizerské Mountains. It is the right place for spending your ideal holidays. If you take the opportunity to have the accommodation in the pension, you can expect pleasant family holidays and resting in a pictoresque and a calm part of the Jizerské Mountains (holidays for families with children the Jizerské Mountains and their surrounding). For the smallest children there is a garden with a sandpit and jungle gyms, a trampolin, a swimming pool, an outdoor room with table tennis (accommodation with children the Jizerské Mountains and their surrounding). The zoo in Liberec is the oldest zoo in the former area of Czechoslovakia. It was founded in 1919 and presently it can be proud cca 170 animal species of the total number of nearly 1.000 specimen. Except for the wide exposition in particular specific pavilions (the pavilions of giraffes, elephants, beasts, monkeys or trops) we ensure tutorials for schools, and you can also find here the wide offer of ecological educational programms. In the lower part of the zoo you can get on a small train, the favourite department is also the contact zoo where the visitors can even pet or feed some animals.
