Penzion Pod Moníncem offers the possibility of accommodation and relaxation in the beautiful environment on the boundary of the South and Central Bohemia in the area called Český Merán. The advantageous position of the immediate vicinity of the ski areal Monínec offers possibilities of active rest during all year, it provides welcome peace and privacy at the same time. The pension is ideal especially for family staying with children bur also for groups of tourists or skiers (possibility to lock bikes and skis in a separate room). There is a beautiful large garden with a swimming pool, fire in a garden house with the possibility of barbecue even when the weather is not good. During summer it is not a problem to ensure pigling barbecue (necessary to arrange in advance).
Accommodation is ensured in spacious apartments for 2-6 persons with the possibility of an extra bed and a cot. Each apartment has own equipped kitchen, bathroom, separate WC, TV, radio, internet connection available. On floors it is possible to take advantage of a sitting and a spacious balcony, other possibility of rest is in a bodega in the basement. Romantic accommodationis offered in a fully equipped garden chalet with a kitchen corner and a shower. Penzion pod Moníncem provides accommodation at a ski-slope with ski-lift, in surroundings there are cross-country skiing tracks and many cyclotracks - possibility to rise bikes by cable, mashroom-picking, fishing, horseriding - Cunkov, golf - Alenina Lhota, mountain scooters, grass skiing and others. Car park is ensured in the piece of land for free.
The castle KONOPIŠTĚ was established as the gothic citadel after the fashion of French castles from the end of the 13th century. Through the time many aristocratic families changed at Konopiště, among others the Šternberks' and Lobkowitzs'. In 1887 archduke Ferdinand d\'Este bought the domain and rebuilt Konopiště as a admirable seat of coming ceasar. Castle rooms were equiped with museum collections whose fundament comes from so called modern heritage.
The impressive building of the castle Dobříš is an unglancable dominating feature of the Central Bohemia, and attracts from its close and further surroundings all fans of history, families with kids and whole groups of its admirors. The today’s rococo appearance of the castle comes from the half of the 18th century and since then it has belonged to the line of Colloredo – Mannsfeld. The castle is running all year long and can offer you a wide and breath-taking exposition including the possibility of walking in the French park.
