In a picturesque countryside of a middle Vltava river flow on the edge of a small village Luhy the stylish accommodation in the pension Myškův mlýn (the mill) is waiting for you. The rekonstructed complex of the mill has rich history – the main building dates even the times of the emperor Charles IV. who used to catch trouts in local Vápenický brook.The original name of the house has its origin in its longstanding owners Albrecht Myška from Žlunice and his wife Žofie Myšková who owned the object in the 1st half of the 17th century, later in the same century the former defensive fortress was rebuilt to a watermill. We have recontructed it for your perfect comfort, and adjusted it today’s requirements, you will find here the comfort nicely connected with the original atmosphere of a farmstead.
The accommodation is divided into two parts here. In the original old building you can find triple and four-bed rooms, the two of which have private terraces, there are also two social rooms with the posibility of sitting at a fireplace. The new building offers luxurious rooms including luxurious triple apartment with own fireplace. The matter of course is a facility in each room. In the pension there is also a year-long open restaurant with a saloon for 12 persons where we ensure you breakfast, half-board or full-board. Except for standard boarding services we will be happy to assist you with ensuring piglet baking or pig-sticking feasts. The pension with its provided services is also a very suitable object for arranging various private and social events.
The castle KONOPIŠTĚ was established as the gothic citadel after the fashion of French castles from the end of the 13th century. Through the time many aristocratic families changed at Konopiště, among others the Šternberks' and Lobkowitzs'. In 1887 archduke Ferdinand d\'Este bought the domain and rebuilt Konopiště as a admirable seat of coming ceasar. Castle rooms were equiped with museum collections whose fundament comes from so called modern heritage.
The impressive building of the castle Dobříš is an unglancable dominating feature of the Central Bohemia, and attracts from its close and further surroundings all fans of history, families with kids and whole groups of its admirors. The today’s rococo appearance of the castle comes from the half of the 18th century and since then it has belonged to the line of Colloredo – Mannsfeld. The castle is running all year long and can offer you a wide and breath-taking exposition including the possibility of walking in the French park. The rooms of the castle can be also used for arranging weddings, conferences, ceremonial nights or garden parties.
