In the untouched countryside of the highlands in the town Chotěboř with a rich history you will find the Penzion Bene. This building, in which the style, originality, history and unrepeatable atmosphere are joint, will surely inspire you and gives your body deserved rest and comfort at the same time. The history of the house had been described already in 1612, the a famous pub was located here. The town itself, which has its origin in deep Middle Ages, is the pearl at the foot of Železné hory and a picturesque valley of the river Doubrava. Come to visit us, we believe, that you will feel really good here, just like the name of the Penzion Bene promises.
You can be accommodated in 7 stylish rooms, from which each exceeds by its originality. You will be taken to the ancient times, you will enjoy the farmlike atmosphere, you will experience the original retro-style and relax in a nice comfort of moderna. Our caffé will take you than to the time of the elegance of the 30s, where you will forget the time running at a fabulous coffee. And if you will want to get to know surroundings, you can go for example to the canyon valley of the river Doubrava, you can visit close open-air museum, the water dam Seč, the ruine the of castle Lipnice nad Sázavou and many other sights or natural interesting things. There is also a car park controlled by a camera at the pension.
Welcome to our Zoo areal which is situated in a picturesque valley of the river Jihlávka. Fanciful exposition of animals is only 10 min. walk from the centre of the town. In a while you will find yourselves in the middle of the countryside with water areas, woody slopes, meadows and rocks. The zoo without rails is the home for next to 150 species of exotic animals, including the species threatened by extinction. We specialize in raising felines, reptiles and monkeys.
