Chata Barborka, Horní Maxov
We offer you the stylish accommodation in a mountain chalet Barborka which has been built in a quiet and strategical place over the town Jablonec nad Nisou. The chalet is located in the heart of the Jizerské mountains which will kindly surprise you by its picturesqueness and the amount of attractive destinations. Apart from the accommodation we provide the possibility of boarding in our restaurant, an out-door sitting in the garden with refreshment or at a swimming pool, in winter there is a wide choice of downhill or cross.country skiing.
The accommodation is ensured in single up to five-bed rooms of the total capacity of 33 beds with shared facilities in floors. There are also a dining room with a bar and TV, a children’s corner, an out-door sitting and a car park. In the chalet it is possible to take advantage of a fabulous home cuisine by ordering half or full-board, on your request it is possibile to taste roasted knees, ducks, fondues, shakes and other gastronomical goodnesses. Come to have an active or passive rest to a beautiful mountain environment, we are looking forward to you!
The zoo in Liberec is the oldest zoo in the former area of Czechoslovakia. It was founded in 1919 and presently it can be proud cca 170 animal species of the total number of nearly 1.000 specimen. Except for the wide exposition in particular specific pavilions (the pavilions of giraffes, elephants, beasts, monkeys or trops) we ensure tutorials for schools, and you can also find here the wide offer of ecological educational programms. In the lower part of the zoo you can get on a small train, the favourite department is also the contact zoo where the visitors can even pet or feed some animals.
