The family pension with a restaurant was established in the place inherently connected with the writer Jaroslav Hašek and his legendary soldier Švejk. Just in our restaurant „U České koruny“ („At the Czech Crown“) Hašek wrote the essential part of his work. The adjecent pension can be now thanks to its reconstruction used for recreational stayings connected with the cognition of Lipnice nad Sázavou and its surroundings. Come to us to be accommodated in a picturesque suburbium and absorb the atmosphere of Švejk. The invitation applies for individuals, families with kids, companies and bigger groups.
We have prepared the accommodation in double and multi-bed rooms with own facilities including Hašek’s apartment, where the writer used to stay. For conference purposes it is possible to take advantage of a saloon, a conference room and of course of our restaurant. We will prepare for you a banquet or a medieval feast in the castle Lipnice, in summer months we can bake a piglet on a terrace or arrange barbecue on your request. We also have rich experience in arranging weddings with the ceremony in a castle chapel, we will also take care of the wedding feast in our stylish rooms including the decoration and a wedding cake. In 2009 we increased the accommodation capacity up to 68 beds, and we also have for you a large hall which can be used for family celebrations, business parties or business schoolings.
Welcome to our Zoo areal which is situated in a picturesque valley of the river Jihlávka. Fanciful exposition of animals is only 10 min. walk from the centre of the town. In a while you will find yourselves in the middle of the countryside with water areas, woody slopes, meadows and rocks. The zoo without rails is the home for next to 150 species of exotic animals, including the species threatened by extinction. We specialize in raising felines, reptiles and monkeys.
Welcome to the western village called Šiklův mlýn, in the biggest theme park in the Czech republic! This unique experience may be taken by all, regardless the age, as our rich program is suitable for families with children as well as for companies or bigger groups in Vysočina.
