The Karolínka Cottage is the highest laying Cottage in a pictoresque environment of a mountain village Benecko in Krkonoše and it offers a beautiful view of the surrounding – accommodation in the mountains. Wide possibilities of sports and tourist self-realization are a matter of course in Benecko. In winter (daily made up pistes, night skiing, ski and snowboard rental, 50 km of cross-country routes – winter holidays in Krkonoše) and also in summer (tourist and cyclo routes, mountain bike rental, tennis courts, sauna, billiard – stays for bikers, active holidays Benecko. The Karolínka Cottage offers accommodation in double to seven-bed-rooms (possible extra beds) with facilities in the rooms, a restaurant with a bar and great cuisine. Guests have a lounge with TV available. The accommodation is provided with half board (breakfast and dinners). Lunches can be chosen ala carte. With larger groups, full board is possible to be arranged. The Cottage is suitable for families with children, hedge schools, ski courses, sports trainings, company gatherings, language courses, summer camps as well as stays for children from children´s homes or other institutions in Krkonoše. When arranged in advance, pets are no problem to take with. The object has its own car park, in winter accessible usually with snow chains. It is possible to arrange transport from a non-stop observed car park in winter.
The zoo in Liberec is the oldest zoo in the former area of Czechoslovakia. It was founded in 1919 and presently it can be proud cca 170 animal species of the total number of nearly 1.000 specimen. Except for the wide exposition in particular specific pavilions (the pavilions of giraffes, elephants, beasts, monkeys or trops) we ensure tutorials for schools, and you can also find here the wide offer of ecological educational programms. In the lower part of the zoo you can get on a small train, the favourite department is also the contact zoo where the visitors can even pet or feed some animals.
